They're off to see the wizard

As most of you know, Claire is cast as a "flower pot" munchkin in the wizard of oz at the Georgetown Palace Theatre this summer. She has been bitten by the acting bug and loves every second of it. The musical is currently running and will go until Sept 4th. Shows are Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p and matinees at 2p on Saturday and Sunday. It's a great show, so come out if you can!

A gift to last a lifetime

For Claire's 5th birthday party, we wanted her to learn of the beautiful art of giving. In lieu of birthday gifts, we had her guests bring school supplies. We donated the gifts today at a local liberty hill bank that was doing a school supply drive. She was proud to bring in her wagon of goods. We are very proud of her!

Capitol 10K

As goes the saying, everything is bigger in Texas. We don't do anything small not even our road races.

For the first time, our whole family participated in a road race together. Mark and I ran in the capitol 10k with the kiddos in our double wide jogging stroller. Us and the 23,000 other participants.
We ran as part of a Scott and White team.

It was a nice run with great weather. The kids were very cooperative and well-behaved. Mark did a spectacular job of maneuvering the stroller between the masses of people and no injuries were inflicted.
